A recent RA - Northern CA homeowner in Parkside Villas Brentwood, CA, commented: We loved working with the Richmond American Homes team. We heard a lot of builder horror stories, but I feel like we didn't get any of that! And I want to highlight a couple of people who helped us with our positive experience.
We were blown away by transparency from Angel (sales representative) from the beginning. She kept us in the loop the entire time and was very informative/communicative, and she was able to address any and all questions and concerns we had in a very timely manner. I don't think we could have asked for a better sales rep to work with, and I feel like she took care of us so well. I ended up having a health issue after my pregnancy, and needed to make an update to my home due to my medical condition, and Angel made that happen for us even though we had signed the final JIO already. Angel went above and beyond to make that happen, and we are so thankful that Richmond American Homes was able to accommodate our change. I know I wouldn't have asked any other sales rep to work with, and due to her transparency and helpfulness in the entire process, I would trust Angel with any other home I end up buying in the future.
The home design process with Camille was amazing too. Camille was so good at her job, and we also appreciated her helpfulness, and we were glad that we were able to make the upgrades we got to make while staying in a budget of the home that we felt comfortable at. Camille has an eye for design, and thanks to her, the interior of our home looks amazing. I often have a hard time making decisions and it was overwhelming seeing all the choices at home gallery, but her recommendations and suggestions were superb and made the decision making process super easy. She was also so patient in the process, and we never felt pressured or felt like Camille was trying to upsell anything. We really got to own our decisions for the home design process, and we are so thankful that we got to work with Camille! We love Camille, and Richmond American Homes is so lucky to have her as part of their team.
Also wanted to give a special shoutout to Mark! I was told often that we need to worry about the quality of the home when going with a builder, but I also heard that the build quality depends on the super intendant in charge of the project. I think we got extremely lucky to have worked with Mark, who is a super intendant who actually very much cares about the quality of the homes. It's a good feeling knowing that I don't have to worry about plumbing issues or structural issues because I know Mark GENUINELY cares about the people buying these homes, and he wants to build good homes. Mark was also really good about getting back to us and answering any and all questions we had about the home in a timely manner, and he took good care of us even after we had closed on our home. If I know which neighborhoods Mark is going to work on next for Richmond, I would definitely vouch for that neighborhood and recommend it to people. :)
Also wanted to give a special thanks to Reuben (part of home care) who worked on providing touch-ups and fixes. We understand that no home can be built perfectly in one go, and that there will be some need for touch ups or fixes. Reuben in his team was able to address all of our concerns and warranty requests in a timely manner, and we appreciate that a ton. I know a lot of people complain that builders leave them behind after they have closed on a home when they file warranty requests, but that was not our experience by any means, and any issues were addressed very quickly, and we absolutely loved the care provided by the Richmond American Homes home care team.
We feel incredibly lucky that we got to work with such great team of people on our first home purchase!
