What do you have going on in July?

I'm putting a trip together to Croatia, late July 2024.

We will rent a car and take ferries or speedboat taxis to islands across the nearby Adriatic Sea, go whitewater rafting (as always), explore the region of Dalmatia -- and the cities of Split and Zadar. If we get enough EDM fans, maybe stop for a day of dancing at Outlook Festival.

Walk around the high walls of Dubrovnik and take the cable car to the top of Srd Hill for panoramic views and a sunset. Hike around Plitvice Lakes National Park and many other scenic spots.

Chill out on beautiful pebble beaches, eat great seafood (Croatian fish swim 3 times: in the water, in olive oil, and in wine). We'll take in what this incredible country has to offer.

At least 12 days (more if people have more time), plus a day there and back. Minimum tour cost: $2500-3k (that covers accomodation, activities, transport and my guiding) plus food & airfaire (minimum from Denver, ~$1300). Croatia is in Europe and ain't inexpensive, but it's gorgeous.

Cueva Ventana was closed! Their website sucks so I had no idea. Made up for it with a quick visit to El Parque del Norte and swimming at a couple of beaches near beautiful Isabella. Finishing the day at famous Crash Boat Beach near Aguadilla, over to the Pueblo to explore from here.

4 of my clients had a delayed flight leaving Omaha and missed their connecting flight through Houston, leaving them stranded there from 8pm last night until 2:30pm today.

I have painstakingly rebooked our Bacardi (had to visit the location, no one picks up the phone) and walking tours and rearranged our Airbnb accommodations, creating and adapting to a new plan that takes away one of our beach days around Aguadilla and replaces it with a stay in the mountains of Utuado and a visit to Cueva Ventana, with time to zipline at Toro Verde thrown in. Phew!

Flying to beautiful Puerto Rico for my first commercial trip of 2022. My 4 clients are flying out of Omaha and are not far behind.

First day, tomorrow: rum tasting tour of the Bacardi Distillery and a walking tour of Old San Juan. ¡Adelante!
