We hosted our FIRST RETREAT at The Farmhouse!!! What a lovely day of new possibility! I’m so grateful for the ease and flow of working with my dear friend Judy. Together with our lovely participants my heart was singing!!🎵 ❤️ Neurographic Art is so cool! It helps to create new pathways in the brain and it’s so meditative and satisfying. Many special moments, laughter, tears and community ❤️ Growth and Expansion happen with love, tender care and space. Yay us! for “being the change we wish to see in the world” ❤️

This spring, little touches have been happening to make the farmhouse extra special. Look at the old Scott’s Oquaga Lake House sign!! Thanks to Kieran Schneider for the help getting that beast up! And then there is Bill Bergman who designed and helped to build this beautiful deck last year. Now this year, we have a proper step down, a beautiful pole for our sun sail and the cherry on top is going to be this amazing stone planter!!! Oh and the dock was repaired after the ice wiped it out! Thank you Bill!! Thank you Kieran!!
We could not do this without all the wonderful suppprt we have had! Grateful for all ❤️

I’ve been spending a lot of time by the lake this spring, planting pretty things and watching beavers 🦫 Don’t worry the beavers move out as the lake gets busy. We have our first guests coming this weekend! I’m wondering when you would like to visit? Happy Halloween Friends!
Remembering our Scott’s high dive and how many back flips I used to do off of it! Memories of the past can light us up or fill us with great sadness. I am choosing gratitude for my upbringing at the beautiful . And as well, gratitude for the opportunity to create a new space here at The Farmhouse at Oquaga Lake for guests to relax and enjoy. Ok, this was last Friday on our 80* day! The lake was more than refreshing 🥶 💥🥶
I’ve spared you the video! Although entertaining, not something I want to share here LOL 😆
But really, the water temps in the summer are divine and oh so refreshing with no need for swearing as you enter the lake!
I hope you’ll come and feel for yourself ❤️

It’s Spring at Oquaga Lake and it is absolutely beautiful. I’m so grateful that Jonathan and I were able to winter in Florida. We feel refreshed and are back at the lake getting The Farmhouse ready for you!
Lots of projects for phase two, including painting the exterior and deck building. Also, readying two rooms with private baths and efficiency kitchenettes for individuals or couples who don’t need as much space.

It’s been a beautiful fall here at Scott’s Farmhouse at Oquaga Lake! Jonathan and I are very grateful for the opportunity to carry on the tradition of hospitality that has been in my family for over 150 years!
We have invested heart and soul into getting the farmhouse ready for you, and we are nearly there!
By May 2023, we will have our doors open for you and your family to enjoy beautiful Oquaga Lake and the beautiful surrounding mountains.

Perhaps a stay in 2023 at The Farmhouse is a holiday gift for your loved ones….
We can accommodate up to 14+ guests. We imagine a few events here and there that will add that special touch! Such as yoga classes, community bon fires, happy hours, LED Bocci (look it up!) canoe concerts and on land concerts!
