Got honey? Make this super easy 20-minute granola tonight and thank yourself in the morning.

In la Casa de Green Turtle we make our famous “thousand-year-old granola”. Every other weekend or so we make a batch of this granola and add goodies like dried cranberries, banana chips, almonds, or other nuts into it. Vary the mix-Ins every week and keep adding granola.

PS Hannaford has a nice bulk section to buy small amounts of seeds and nuts that can get expensive otherwise.

This is a super easy granola recipe. It isnt overly sweet and is a real crowd-pleaser. It also makes your house smell fabulous for hours after you bake it. I normally add about 2 Tbsp. wheat germ and a tsp. brewers yeast to my dry ingredients - for nutritional value.
