Military Rates (extends to retired and active Reserves) are still AVAILABLE for Disney Cruise Line cruises this summer for MOST DCL routes! Great rates on cruises to Alaska, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Transatlantic eastbound in May and westbound in Sept, Mediterranean including the Greek Isles, AND Northern Europe! And, there are great options for short sails from San Diego to Mexico for all of our Vegas and California people!

What our family appreciates about Disney Cruise Line is the kids club! We love using cruises to see new places while only unpacking once, but the added benefit with Disney Cruise Line is while the kids have forced fun on the activities we want to do in port when we get back to the boat they get to have their own fun! And, if anyone knows FUN, it's Disney! There are also adult only spaces on the boat for times you may need a reprieve.

The second thing is the entertainment. You all know I love the theater and Disney Cruise Lines brings it when it comes to the theater productions they offer! It was a beautiful experience and memory for my daughters to have their first theater experience onboard the Dream!

The third thing I enjoy about Disney Cruises is the rotating dining. Every day your dining option is different while the waitstaff follows you which nurtures the human connection and enhances the experience.

When my client reached out regarding an all-inclusive resort I knew how they like to travel (they are literally the only people in their breathtaking travel pictures) and I immediately knew beautiful Antilles was the place for them... Now they are weeks away from checking in and I am GREEN with envy that I won't be joining them!

Yesterday was the 6th birthday of Inspirely Travel! Some of us agents got to spend the week investing in our knowledge and expertise AND celebrating our fearless leader’s, Meredith Maki’s, brain child! It’s not lost on me that my eldest daughter’s 8th birthday was last Friday, Inspirely turned 6 yesterday and my youngest turns 5 next Saturday! So lucky to get to celebrate all the amazing ladies at the Most Magical Place on Earth! 💕✨🏰

Did you know that military members can book their PCS transportation (in most cases) as they wish? That means for those going TO OR FROM Europe have an opportunity to CRUISE for an epic start or finish to overseas tours! I saw this itinerary and my jaw dropped! It hits two of my favorite countries (Iceland and Scotland) and adds places that are hard to reach in normal travels (looking at you, Greenland!)

Your next trip destination inspiration could come from the book you’re reading, movie or TV show you’re watching …. And, I’m hoping to INSPIRE you!

When I planned our trip to Scotland we actually made sure we visited a few places because we absolutely HAD to see them in real life. We drove from Edinburgh down to England to Sycamore Gap in Northumberland National Park, hiked a few kilometers in a cow field where yes they made their displeasure of us being there known so we could see Hadrian’s Wall and “the tree” in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves… where sadly Kevin Costner was NOT there to greet us. 😅 Is it cheesy?! YES! We wanted to see Hadrian’s Wall and could have picked a different spot…. But, we are who we are so we have a fun little story to tell about seeing that bit of Western Civilization history….

I’ll be sharing more from our personal gallery of experiences and the inspiration that drove us there OR the realization once we were there that “holy crap this is where (insert movie/ show/ book) was (filmed or written!)

I flew American Airlines for the first time in a very long time last week and while every person we encountered was truly an amazing experience… I cannot help but prefer the aircrafts Delta operates. The Bombardier CJ900 was a nice ride but it was noisier and it just isn’t the same experience as the Delta airplanes.

It’s almost a new year which means we can switch our airline perks. Which airline are you choosing for your credit card travel perks? Why? We don’t have a true home airline since we aren’t a hub. Many of us aren’t so I’m interested…. What’s your preferred airline? Why?

We got to see SIX about King Henry the XIII’s wives on the Norwegian Cruise Line Breakway. It was SO good I watched it twice! I’ll post a video the cast approved for videoing soon. I spoke with cruisers who chose this specific ship/sailing to see this Broadway hit!

I would say I am not a fan of musicals. “Back where I come from” we definitely did not have access to musicals. We got to see a few plays on a class trips. In my experience of humility I’ve grown. What I’ve learned… leave room/ space for things not familiar or necessarily liked from past experience. And I CAN LOVE a musical. When you find the right genre, script (I’m Tudor obsessed), music (this one is pop), cast doors open to new loves and thirsts for more experiences. Living in your familiar will always be comfortable but JOY and happiness beyond your limitations comes from stepping out of it. ❤️

It has been a good year for traveling
for Corey and me. We have been to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Disney Cruise Line Halloween on the High Seas aboard the Dream and a trip to Europe with a stop at Ladurée and Disneyland in Paris… and of course wineries along the way! Now where to next?!

We made the unfortunate decision in February 2020 of not getting Finley’s first haircut because we would be back in a month or two. Little did we know….

The first haircut experience is one of my favorite memories of Ansley at Walt Disney World. We cannot wait to do it with Finley as soon as possible!

We are ending National Park Week... How many national parks have you visited in the U.S.? Which is your favorite? Where would you like to visit?

My favorite so far is Zion National Park. And, I am currently planning a trip to Acadia National Park this fall.

When we are exploring new or old places I try to include a stop in at a national park. I grew up doing yearly trips to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and it sparked a deep appreciation for the diversity of our great nation! We have national parks passport books for our girls and we stop in and get passport stamps and junior ranger activities for them to earn badges.

My clients are boarding their airplanes home from exploring the canyons and national parks in the Southwest. When they contacted us they were trying to plan a multiple family "bucket list" trip to see the Grand Canyon. What we created was an epic trip from Phoenix via the scenic route of canyons to Las Vegas.

And, if you ask me.... Antelope Canyon remains the most beautiful place I have seen in the United States of America. Here is a glimpse of what their trip included.

Just to circle back to this funny meme... we ran into traffic on our way to the airport on our way back from Europe and wound up just shy of three hours early for our international flight. We never stopped moving from when we exited the car until we boarded the airplane which we even missed the window to board in our seating assignment. This was not even during a busy time at the airport (we opted for a later flight) nor a "high season" time. I have seen and heard that this is the new normal. Even our small local airport during the summer months/ "high season" you can expect it to take hours to get checked in and through security. Word of warning.... arrive EARLY!
