Another stud tiger the other night!! It has been a while since we have been able to get out due to the grass but this made up for the wait! We are super excited that Chad and his family were able to land this beautiful shark and see it on its way back into the gulf 🙏 couldn’t have asked for a better end to the night and we are excited to get back out there soon!

For any of those wondering what comes of us tagging sharks, here is the results! Our last tagged tiger shark hasn’t been caught for 1699 days! The first time this guy was caught he was near Navarre Beach and has decided to stay in the area for over 6 years!! He was 5 1/2 feet on the first catch and measured over 9 1/2 feet when we caught him 🤩 now that is a BIG BOY! A free bonus cooperative shark tagging program hat on top of the report was just the icing on top 🦈🎣

Great trip from a couple nights back! We were finally able to find a break in the grass before the June grass got super thick and managed to get on 4 black tips and a fine tooth! Super exciting trip with a lot of action!

Additionally, we would like to apologize to everyone we have had to cancel on recently due to the amount of grass in the water. This mix of sargassum w**d and June grass makes a completely unfishable combination for us. We hope y’all will choose to give us another shot on your future trips! 😄

I will be trying to post some updates on the fishing conditions soon and on any trips we are able to squeeze in between the grass. We have stopped booking for June but are scheduling for July and August which are some of our best months for shark fishing! Hit us up to schedule your trip and catch some monster fish! 🎣🦈

Kody, Brody, and James, i hope this was a trip that y’all will remember for a lifetime! Y’all got on some amazing sharks and even got to take some home to fry up! The almost 10 ft tiger shark really set the mood for the rest of the trip and we can certainly say that James has mastered the shark dance 😂 we had a great time with y’all and you are welcome anytime! Got on some pretty nice sandbar sharks last night! Couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better group of people to take out! We had a blast fighting these guys and even had one SMOKE a live ladyfish. A beautiful 7ft female tiger shark was the shark that we needed on Saturday!! Couldn’t be happier with the outcome of this trip and a once in a lifetime fish for our guests! This shark stole the show and left all of us with an unforgettable fishing trip. Safely tagged and released to grow and continue preserving our oceans and the marine life around it 😁🎣🦈

First bull shark of the year was a STUDDD! Caught mid-day off of Opal beach on a chunk of stingray. Thank y’all for trusting us to get you on a good shark and quite the surprise catch at the end 😅 we hope to see you again and get you on an even bigger shark next time!

Oooooooweeeeeeeee we got bait again!! Big baits for big sharks, gunna get after it this weekend again! Side note, we were not the only ones after these rays today, we had 4 sharks swimming around us today while bow fishing for these. Super exciting to see them out in the bay looking for their food!

They were biting today!! Shiloh and Lily had their work cut out for them but they handled these sharks like pros! I have never seen anyone fight a shark the way Lily did! UNBELIEVABLY strong sharks last night out of Okaloosa Island! The Dorsett’s toughed it out and landed two great sharks! A couple bonus pompano again and lots of fun leading up to the bite 🤩 great family and great times, we are looking forward to taking y’all out again and catching some more monsters 🎣

The storms coming through had these guys hungry with the water stirred up, next trip to come post storm on Friday, stay tuned for our next catches 🤙

Shark Fact Friday!! In Florida, all ridgeback sharks are prohibited species to keep from state waters. You can identify them by the raised layer of skin between the first and second dorsal fin, called the interdorsal ridge. These sharks are critical in the preservation and sustainment of our local reef ecosystems.

Some species include duskies, lemon sharks, and sandbars! All of these are frequent catches on our trip and we do everything we can to release them healthy back into the gulf!

Proud to be part of the Cooperative Shark Tagging Program as a volunteer with NOAA! We will be tagging some of our larger, more interesting catches here soon and look forward to being able to help provide the researchers at NOAA with information to help them understand these animals better. Now we just need to get some baits soaking 🤙
