Sometimes in life you meet someone and immediately become friends, my friend Fred Hassan was that for me.

When I meet him I was a Executive Pastry Chef at Sweet Georgia Brown in Detroit, Michigan and he was a Sous Chef there. We had a deep food connection we would argue then make up about food...lol

I think within 30 days we knew we had to start our own business, and that we did several times.

I miss him and wish he was here with me as I compete in this Favorite Chef Competition.

This is a Free Press news article about our new catering business that we opened. I saw this today and I thought it would be a tribute to my partner, Chef Fred would want me to.
