I have been so busy with the students that I did not write anything for a while but I love it, as sharing Dartmoor's nature, beauty and history is a dream come true. It is nice to be noticed too :-) Thank you Dartmoor News!

Sharing the beauty of Dartmoor can be great fun :-) My guests from Switzerland and Brazil had a fabulous sense of humour so this day of walking and exploring could last forever. Beautiful memories and new friendships, could not ask for anything more :-)

The new Dartmoor friends from the Czech Republic were blessed with an almost dry walk yesterday. Meeting the ponies and gaining their acceptance completed their experience.
It felt so good to see the happy faces😀

That was a very unusual Dartmoor trip as we were desperate to don't get washed away by the torrential downfall.
Nick's poem's premiere reading to our Swiss guest took place on the bus by Jay's grave... we hope that Kitty liked it!

Dartmoor poet Nick Wotton kindly wrote a new poem with Kitty Jay as its theme to mark the start of my Dartmoor walks.
I hope we can have a world premiere of this unpublished work on our walk on Sunday when we reach Jay's grave. I am not sure if the author will be keen to join us and read it himself but who knows... fingers crossed!🤞
