FOSTER NEEDED! this poodle mix with the cute puff on his head was brought to us at work yesterday with raging diabetes and pancreatitis (steady diet of pizza and hot dogs)……his owner declined to treat and readily signed him over to us. Once we get his issues under control he will need a foster home as part of the Love to Give seniors program. The rescue pays for all of the medical care….you provide the love. He is 12 years young and just a sweet guy….

Introducing Everest! Another perfect pup! 😀
Everest is a sweet 5-7 year old female chihuahua/pug mix around 13lbs. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Everest has been tossed around but lived with kids and cats and is currently in a foster home with cats, kittens, 6 other dogs of various sizes, free range chickens and a horse. She is housebroken, crate trained, fine on a leash and likes to ride in the car. She would really love a forever home with a good lap.
Open 12-3 today for interested adopters. 😊

Your dogs mean more to us than just a paycheck.

I met Zelda in 2018 while working at Petsmart in Plattsburgh. I groomed her from then until covid shutdown in 2020. We lost touch since we were both college students & only knowing each other through Zelda…

Fast forward to late 2021, while working at a different Petsmart in New Hartford.. Zelda happened to walk in for an appointment. I stole her off someone else’s schedule and the rest is history.

Zelda’s mom lives in the Utica area for a job opportunity, but brings Zelda all the way to our little hometown shop in Dolgeville now. The drive takes a little longer than the actual appointment.

I can’t thank my long lasting clients enough, you know who you are!

It’s so much more than just grooming, dogs bring people together. 🧡💛

Cutie 😔. still in boarding. No applications. she is a sweet playful six month old puppy That is deaf. Her impairment in no way holds her back.  she is good with other dogs. Super sweet and such a good girl.  she has already been dumped in the woods and now she sits in a shelter.

It’s safe to say the first six months of her life have not been kind to her

Jade and Opal need a new home. They were adopted as puppies in November and returned last week still puppies! 😱 They are about 11 months old. Their adopter wasn’t ready for puppies even though she adopted 2. 😔 please know these babes are a 15+ year commitment so consider that before failing them again at this young age.
Jade is a petite 12 pounds & Opal is 16 pounds. They would love to stay together. 💘
