Happy Happy Friday y’all! It is currently 58 degrees at my house and feeling like a spectacular Fall day. It’s just a tease though, it will be in the high 80s today. But I’m going to enjoy it while I can with a big cup of coffee. What are the temps like at your house??

You ever have those days where you just want to crawl back into bed, pull the covers over your head, and cry just a little (or maybe a full blown sob)? That’s me today. I’m just not feeling it. If I’m being honest, anxiety and depression is trying to rear its ugly head over here and I keep telling myself choose joy, choose joy, choose joy!! So I’m about to dive head first into redoing some furniture to see if my creative juices will help me shake this mood.

All these parents with their cute little first day of school signs, and I’m over like...😂
When you only have one chalkboard in your house and it’s as big as your 8 year old, you just roll with it. Poor Harper 😜
Really, I needed that laugh this morning. Momma is struggling sending him off to third grade. He was nervous, I was nervous. And I keep thinking every year will get easier, but it just keeps getting harder. Knowing that he is growing up right before my eyes is a tear jerker for sure. One day he is not going to need me to walk him into school on his first day and Lordy my momma heart just can’t take it.

Mornin! Just rolled out of bed 😴😴 We didn’t get home from vacation til after 1am. So sleeping in was a must. I also got no new pics for you so I’m posting this one of our living area as a welcome home to us.
Do you go on Summer family vacations? I’d love to know where everyone goes.
P.S. just about everything in this room I ought second hand except my couches and a couple of pillows.

Well y’all this is our last day of vacation. We will be flying out this evening. I’m a lot sad because is pretty amazing. We have enjoyed every single minute except the part where Olive peed all over me at the end of our wild life tram tour yesterday. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️The joys of parenthood... But really, this place is beyond beautiful. If you are looking for a fun and relaxing place with the best scenery, is a must. I guess I’ll be climbing into this bed about 1-2am later.

Welcome the newest member of the Maple & Dickerson family, Linkin Oliver. Ashley is doing great and Linkin is as healthy as ever...just look at those cheeks. ❤️❤️
