During these bitter cold temps:
~ Keep your temperature above 70
~Use space heaters to help
~Open cabinets doors to sinks
~Keep a steady drip of water going through pipes
~Wrap pipes pipes in Heat Tape/Cables
~Make sure all hoses are disconnected from outside faucets and it’s helpful to cover them with something insulated

Understandable but I wish it was a little more reasonable.

Short term rental properties, like Airbnb, must now be licensed with the city of Wichita. The new ordinance was in response to a shooting in April 2021 at a short-term rental property in Crown Heights.

$40/ night plus tax (Cleaning fee waved for September/October)
A third spot is available for electricity only, no water, no sewer.
$30/night (Cleaning fee waved for September/October)

The Womacks' Roughin' It Country Farmhouse...
The name says it all, the old farmhouse is simple clean country living... sleeps 8 with basic spare bedding, one bathroom with a shower, basic towels provided, kitchen with basic amenities like a stove, pots, pans, microwave, coffee makers, eating ware, living room... Of course, there's heat, and running water but no internet or AC... so you have to be ready to brave it. ;)
$75/night plus tax (Cleaning fee waved for September/October)

First come first serve. The owner said that if the house is reseved then the camp sight would be closed. However, if the camper sites sell then the house would stay open for all the campers to share the use of the house.

What you see is what you get: nothing fancy, just a clean safe place to stay. We love company and would love to host your stay! Request homemade cinnamon rolls no charge and we have a tractor wheel ready for you to enjoy a safe fire in the evenings! We will even provide the wood!
