Fun night on Water Wings!

Falcon 9 rocket launch out of Cape Canaveral just after sunset. Us and 4 other boat crews we had on board watched the rocket fly overhead, the booster separate and then land 23 miles west of us. First ever Bahamian recovery. Then we heard the re-entry sonic boom about 5 minutes later!

Epic seats for the show! The night devolved from there as expected with beverages and great sea stories from all.

Our new Code 55 has been unearthed!

We have been waiting on a windless day to unfold her, raise her and get her properly set and rolled for use! Only took 3 months of waiting for dead winds.

Now we are ready to sail on those lighter wind days. She a big one :)⛵️

Today was a good day. Grocery & gas refill. Listening to music on a houseboat roof from our dinghy, drinks on a swing/outdoor bar, fresh mahi dinner on the boat, bonfire in the beach with old and new friends. Life is good. SaturYAY success.

After a hike to Gemstone Cave and a swim in our own private lagoon, we parked Nugget and enjoyed a beautiful sunny Tuesday afternoon on Little Farmers Cay in the Exumas. Life is good.

Day 6 of being on our boat, no land life, bouncing over to and south through some of the Bahamas and we FINALLY got off the boat for some conch fritters, meeting some great locals, and overly priced light beers! We did it in the dark up to the beach through the brush and back. Love the random adventures like this. THIS is what it’s all about. ☺️

After a sporty 22 hour trip across the Gulf Stream and the NW Providence Channel into Great Harbour Cay, we anchored just after sunset, ate dinner, and fell into bed exhausted.

This morning… we woke up to this!! … woot! We have finally returned (a year later than planned) to the beautiful blue waters and warm salty air of the Bahamas!!! 🇧🇸

Let the winter adventures begin!!
