Sunday is Bloody Mary bar and they have the BEST Bloody Mary, hands down . . . Period!! You can order a Bloody any day but the garnish is only on Sunday.

⛸️ Howard Park in South Bend was beautiful!!

Ice skating rink⛸️, skating trail, fire pits🔥, playground🎉, Concessions☕, and indoor warming area❤️.

🎟️We purchased our tickets in advance via their website as I had read they do sell out. Tickets were $10.00 for adults (over 15), $7.00 for kids (ages 3-14), and under 3 is free, and this INCLUDES your skate rental.

The facility was very well maintained and the skates were nice and not nasty like what I had expected!! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I will admit I am not much for ice skating, after about 30 minutes I had enough!! 😝 Each skating session lasts for 90 minutes, which was plenty for us!! ❤️

Gavle Goat, Sweden

Since 1966, a 13 meter tall Yule Goat has been built in the center of Gavle's Castle Square for the Advent, but this swedish Christmas tradition has led to another "tradition" of sorts . . . People trying to burn it down.

Christmas Traditions Around the World

Giant Lantern Festival, Philippines

The Giant Lantern Festival is held annually on the Saturday before Christmas Eve in the city of San Fernando. The festival attracts visitors from across the globe. Eleven barangays (villages) compete to build the most elaborate lantern.

Originally, The lanterns were simple creations around 1.5 meters in diameter and were made from origami paper and kit by candle. Today, they are made from a variety of materials and are around 6 meters in diameter and are illuminated by electric bulbs.

This looks amazing!! I would love to check this out!!
