Coconut is the most photogenic goat I’ve ever seen. 🤣 As soon as the camera comes out, he’s there smiling. Be sure to stop by and meet our goats during your stay (4 of which we were blessed to recently have acquired from the Ark Encounter). We even provide goat food so you can give them a treat. 😊

This time of year, it’s only $10 parking to see the lights and other outside attractions like the petting zoo. No extra charge for the carousel rides!!! (Our kids love it!!!)

We had a Thanksgiving to remember today! In addition to our family, the Gadea Family, our tiny house guests all the way from Bacelona, Spain joined us for Thanksgiving Dinner! What a unique and special experience it was!

We have made an exciting change in the tiny house!!! This week we upgraded the downstairs futon to a full-sized sleeper sofa! (A very nice improvement on sitting and sleeping comfort for our guests.) Our kids had to test it out while the plastic was still on. 🤣 Updated pics coming soon!

Building our Tiny House, Part 3! In this video you’ll see the roof completed, electrical run, siding on, insulation installed, and shiplap completed! Huge strides were made in a short amount of time as we built this tiny house last spring! We doubted and labored over every decision. 🤣 In the end, the thought and love we put into it paid off. One year ago today, we began construction on our tiny house vacation rental! Though, as you’ll notice in this reel, a lot of work like running the water line, putting in the septic, and prepping the building site began months before that. What adventure this was! We wanted to document the experience in videos, as much for ourselves as for you. Every time we walk in the house to clean between guests, we have to pinch ourselves. 🤣 We cannot believe we built this beautiful place with the help of family, friends, and some subcontractors. From February - May last year, we were consumed with getting this little house built so we could begin renting it out on AirBnb and Vrbo. We officially opened up on June 1, 2022! Good morning! Life has been very busy with our pumpkin patch, Country Pumpkins, so we haven’t been able to post as much! We did want to share an update on some fall touches we added to the house. 🙂 We are completely booked for the rest of this month. The making of a live edge table for our new tiny house AirBnb! We are so thankful for my parents’ help in creating this absolute work of art for our house! My dad carefully selected this slab of kiln-dried Elm, cut it to size, sanded 8 times at different grits, and applied Odie’s Oil finish to achieve this look. To complete the table, he still needs to apply a wax then attach the hairpin legs.
