Come and visit this lovely comfortable, country place with 1920's Craftsman architecture, located in the gorgeous Finger Lakes Region of upstate NY.

Relax and eat breakfast on the veranda with Seneca Lake views. This is a perfect "home base" for your getaway excursions since the house is conveniently located along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail between Watkins Glen and Geneva. A New York State boat launch is just up the road. Biking is fantastic with lake and country roads that pass Mennonite farms, rolling fields, lake views, and waterfalls. Ther

e are five spacious, bright rooms with brand new private baths. All have queen size beds, TV, WiFi access, hair dryers, irons, robes, garden and lake views. Some rooms have private upper porch access lending to a greater space. Breakfast offerings are traditional American and European delights including eggs, pancakes, waffles, crepes, fruits, smoothies, and more. All foods are fresh from local farms or groceries offering local produce. Guests with a variety of eating styles such as Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten-free are offered a specially created menu upon request.

Thanks to Go Finger Lakes for this recommendation for paddling on the Chemung River. This gorgeous 6-mile stretch starts at Bottchers Launch in Big Flats and ends at Grove St in Elmira. It's home to an abundance of wildlife and birds, including several nesting bald eagles.
