Does lightning strike in the same place twice. Its not suppose to, but when Briar jumped into the boat with his younger brother and mother, we quickly realized how special this chain of lakes is becoming. 30 min. into the evening trip, Briar man handles this old war horse of a musky and puts another giant fish in my boat for the year on a body of water that many thought didn't have fish of this size. Congrats Briar! Elk River Rods & Outfitters 9' heavy mod. fast paired with Shimano North America Fishing Tranx 400HG was used for this set up. The fish was caught on a Chaos Tackle Company Navin. Sliming up the new bag courtesy of RS Nets USA and still loving the Reck-n-Rack Net Mate. Humminbird electronics were used, but again, never saw this fish prior nor did I know it was there. Perfect surprise!!
Check out this video from last week! my buddy Clint and his son hired me for a day and a half. We had lots of action boating 4 out of 9 fish or so. This fish we bumped out at a hair under 50 and he wanted to not have his first fish of 50" or greater be stretched to the mark. A true northern Wisconsin giant! Congrats Clint on your trophy! Released strong to swim another day. I had no idea this fish was around nor did i see it prior to it eating on any electronics. We did however watch it on Mega Live swim out into the basin along with another fish that joined its side. Was fun to watch her swim strong after that battle. Only 5 dates remain open for July. 22,23,29,30,31. A few scattered dates in August remain open for now. Let me know if you want to get out!
