Day 2 is the extended version of the day Clint caught his "Vilas Co. Wisconsin Mega". This was a half day outing that showed the progression of fish activity from curious to feeding! Clint & Mason joined me in the boat for 2 days of mid-summer musky action. This was day 1 and everyone got in on the action as a strong summer thunderstorm approached! Fish were caught on a double cowgirl by MUSKY MAYHEM TACKLE LLC and a swimmin dawg by Musky Innovations FINS Braids 100lb XS was the choice line used. Reck-n-Rack had me testing out a new MegaLive pole mount on the side of the boat throughout the summer. You will see 1 of the prototype models on my boat in this video. 1st solo casting musky of 2024 reminded me I was a little out of practice. I choked way up on the rod, making it easy to break if the fish decided to take 1 more run. Thankfully it didn't, and the rod was spared this time. Next time, I would let some line out, lift the rod tip up to bring the fish closer to the boat. Another good "what not to do" video. Spotted the fish on first, and then you can see the shadow of the fish as it followed the bait to the boat deep on . This fish was caught on a prototype HunsyTails micro blade. Chuck has over 40 years of musky fishing experience to bring to the table. He has also been instrumental in the development and testing with Mepps musky lures and now works closely with Figure 8 Lures.

January 8 Brian Skaife

I’ll bet most of you probably heard of Brian’s you tube channel Angling Anarchy. Brian will be sharing his knowledge of capturing your fishing trip and catches on video.

February 12 Austin Wiggerman

Austin has really made his presence know in the past 5-10 years with the success he has had in several states musky fishing. He guides in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota and will be sharing some of the tactics that has made him successful in these states.

March 12 Clayton Spiess

Clayton guides in northern Wisconsin and is also a very successful tournament angler. If you have followed the PMTT the past several years you have seen Clayton’s name on the leaderboard. Clayton will be talking about all of the electronics out there and when and how to use them to be successful.

April 9 Jim Shell

Jim is going to bring years of knowledge on structure fishing. Jim will be sharing the many seasonal tactics and presentations in structure fishing.

May 14 DNR Conservation Officers & UWSP research team.

The DNR Conservation officers will be telling us about any new rule changes in 2025 and what we can look out for on the water.

The UWSP research team will be talking about some of the upcoming studies they will be doing on Green Bay

June 11 Jason Breggemann

Jason is the DNR biologist for Green Bay and the fox river. He will be shafting the results of the spring egg collection as well as what the future looks like for Green Bay Muskies.

It looks like my musky season is over in Northern Wisconsin. With that, brings on video editing season. Might as well start at the end and show a little bit of when things don't go as planned.
