And that’s a wrap! Tomorrow and Monday’s weather forecast is not good so today was our last day. It was a great and fun season with an extended 6 weeks into the Autumn. A big thanks to everyone and especially to the Emerald Lake State Park staff because those guys rock! I’m forever grateful. But all good things must come to an end. Until Memorial Day Emerald lake!

Sunday looks cold and rainy so Saturday might be our last day for rentals and the concession stand. Stop by, have a hot coffee and cider donut at Emerald lake and take a canoe or other boat out onto the lake, explore the park and see the beautiful foliage for the last paddle of the season.

Only three weekends left to rent boats and buy from the concession stand. We still have plenty of ice cream in stock, coffee, cider donuts and some other goodies to purchase. We’re open today! We may close early, but we are open now! The pumpkin muffins are amazing! We are also now selling Vermont specialty glazes, mustard and jams! Maple Rosemary glaze, Vermont made country mustard, and Jamtastics Christmas jam, happy fig jam, hot 4 habanero strawberry jam and strawberry rhubarb jam.

Our new fall schedule will be Saturdays and Sundays through October 13 and open from 11-4. Starting Sunday September 8 we will be selling hot coffee (regular and pumpkin spice) hot cocoa, cold cider, cider donuts and pumpkin muffins as well as our regular snack menu. Last boat rental will go out at 3. See you at Emerald lake!

We are open today! We have plenty of drinks, snacks, and lots of ice cream! Big Howie is a favorite and sells out quickly.  Also try out the Paddillac, the two person hybrid standup paddle board/kayak. It’s also been a favorite this season. After today we will be open on weekends only (weather permitting).

Will you be visiting for the autumn foliage? Maybe you’re a local who wants to get out and enjoy the fall colors. Do you own an inn or just have house guests that are looking for something to do? How about kayaking at Emerald lake and looking at the beautiful foliage? This year, rather than closing for the season on Labor Day weekend we are extending our rental season and concessions stand and staying open until October 13. We will be open weekends only and hours are yet to be determined. Along with the regular snacks at the concession stand, we will be offering fall goodies as well such as pumpkin and apple baked goods, apple cider and hot coffee will be available. We will also have Wilcox ice creams pumpkin flavored 802 bars. For sale will be some local Vermont products such as apple and pumpkin butter, mustard, and other fun fall goodies.

Did you know this year we are offering more ice cream choices than ever before and we have something for everyone! Klondike‘s, organic fruit pops, chipwiches, ice cream sandwiches, Snickers ice cream bars, sugar-free fudge bars, regular fudge bars, icee push pops, orange creamsicle bars, strawberry shortcake crunch bars, Bomb pops, Drumsticks, Otter pops, chocolate eclair bars, chocolate covered vanilla bars, chocolate covered vanilla bar with nuts, ice cream cups, popsicles, and from Wilcox dairy we have The Big Howie, 802 espresso bars, 802 maple bars and 802 peanut butter.
We also have a large variety of chips, drinks, and other snacks. Come check out Spirit of Sonoras boat rentals and snack shack at Emerald lake.
