Had a lovely week at the Eastham home. Sad to leave! The beaches are just so relaxing, and the home with 2 phases of renovation work done is so comfortable and peaceful to stay in. Can’t wait to return in august, and hope all our guests have a great stay in the meantime!

If you haven’t had the pleasure of enjoying you’re missing out! Nicki is the best! So fun! She gave the boys a special treat to celebrate the 4th… sour pop rocks to put on their icecream, so fun!! She also has the best homemade mint chip ice cream sandwiches - heavenly!!! Be sure to follow and meet Nicki and the crew! They’re the best!

The Eastham windmill is the oldest windmill in the country, built in 1680! It’s in incredible condition, and was used to make corn flour from corn kernels. Super interesting! There was a wonderful man inside today explaining the history of the mill, fascinating! Just behind it is the buoy memorial, Christmas tree, lovely!

Sometimes you have to take a minute to send a few emails while on vacation. A quiet nook to do just that is available in our home, tucked away in our master bedroom. A little bit of peace amongst the fun of summer to get what you need done.

Movie night! When you’ve had enough ocean, beach, and sun, and just want to veg out with some snacks, cold drinks, and watch a movie! Our home is quite warm, comfortable, and super spacious - perfect for tv time and junk food!

Rainy day? No problem! Our home has lots to keep the family entertained indoors. Play a board game, binge your favorite show, watch a movie, try your hand at foosball or chess… there’s lots to do! Had one of those days yesterday, and it was probably the most laughs we’ve had all week!

Low tide morning beach walks between our beach at Cole road and First Encounter are truly magical. The views are stunning, sand is soft, and the skies are so vast.

Crazy before and after. Sometimes I wonder what we were thinking, but the location was the biggest sell. The beaches are simply amazing. Eastham is such a peaceful area too. We are loving the house now! All new siding, windows, gutted and renovated the second floor, new kitchen in the winter.

An absolute must! Hole in one bakery and coffee shop - incredible! Be prepared to wait in line, no more than 20 min., but totally worth it! 🍩☕️🥯🥐

Our color scheme for the renovation work centers around a calm color palette, with natural, elements and textures sprinkled throughout. Our goal was to create a beach house feel with a modern approach to design.

Project 2 continued… second floor gut renovation. Here’s some pictures of bedroom #2 before and after (after pics featured first) with en-suite full bathroom.

Project 2 centered around a gut renovation of the second floor. The full bath was on its last leg, and the two bedrooms upstairs had carpets that needed to be removed, add lighting, ac, and freshly paint. All in all, it was a full gut. We ended up splitting the single bathroom upstairs into two, giving each bedroom an en-suite bathroom. Here’s some pictures of the reno process for one bedroom and one bathroom.

Having close access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail is fantastic. Just ½ mile from the house. One of our favorite family bike rides is to Coast Guard Beach. The ride is all paved, and the path from the entrance of the National Seashore to the beach is windy, turny, and gorgeous.

Eastham has so much to offer, and the beaches bring some of the biggest appeal. The calm Bayside beaches and the waves of the National Seashore are just a short bike ride from one another. Both have incredible views.

A pandemic project that has come to fruition over the last couple years that we absolutely enjoy! We invested in a Cape house in Eastham, MA.
