The Plaza Arts Center is happy to present the third film of the South Arts Southern Circuit of Independent Films series, “Family Tree.”🎥🤩
“Family Tree” explores sustainable forestry in North Carolina through the stories of two Black families fighting to preserve their land and legacy.
The film’s cinéma vérité approach reveals the vast task of maintaining the land while navigating family dynamics, developers and environmental needs. The forest and the beauty of its changing seasons become a primary character in this family drama.

🌟 “Family Tree” will be shown at The Plaza on November 20th at 7pm. This event is free to the public, but The Plaza asks that you sign up online for a spot at plazacenter.org
