As the 2024 fishing season is winding down, we would like to thank all our customers for booking with us this year. Due to the changes in the rock fishing catch limits we decided to put the boat in the barn early this year. Cannot wait for next season to get here so we can start fishing again. See you all next year and Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎆

Awesome afternoon trip with Paul, Jocylen, Kaleb, and Joey with Tails Up Charters. First time Jocelyn has been fishing and she kicked ass. The star of the day was Kaleb with his monster Red. Another great day getting my clients on the fish. Thank you for booking. Had a great afternoon on the bay with my girlfriend’s son Alex. Got on some nice specs and Alex’s first red drum congratulations. 40” Tails Up Charters on them out of the gate.

Spring is in the air and Tails Up Charters is ready to start fishing. May 16 is the season opener for rockfish and the reds are starting to show up also. My First mate Terrie and I installed new Winn Grips on our Cobia rods today. They feel great. Just hope they hold up to the test of Mr Cobia this summer. Glad she helped out because I am still in my sling and could not do it with one arm lol.

It’s getting that time again to start planning for the upcoming 2024 fishing season. The Tails up charter crew has been gearing up for the season by tying rigs, prepping rods and reels, and having the boat in tip top shape. Please book your trips now in advance to hold your spot. With the new rockfish regulations for Maryland starting May 15th we also have Red Drum, Black Drum, and Speckle Trout. Cobia starts in Virginia June 15th and those spots are booking up so give us a call for a great fishing adventure.

Another great day on the water with Tails up Charters. Was a great day with my best friend Tim. We landed 4 Red Drum and 1 Cobia lost 3 other Cobia. I tied my personal record with this 52” sea monster. Fair winds and calm seas.

Although the Cobia were scarce today we hooked this beautiful 45” Red Drum. Any day on the water is an awesome experience. Thank you lord for allowing me to experience some great adventures.

Awesome day fishing with a best friend today Wayne. We got on them early and in less than an hour and a half we had three and put one back and came home before lunchtime. We even caught a tagged fish.
What a day. GOD is Great
