6️⃣9️⃣ years ago today Disneyland opened its gates to guests!

🎥Walt Disney had intended for it to be an exclusive opening with an invite-only crowd of about 20,000 guests. But approximately 15,000 additional guests had bootleg tickets and rushed into the park. It was so hot that ladies heels were getting stuck in the asphalt, rides were broken down, and plumbing and sewer issues plagued the “Happiest Place on Earth” on its opening day.

🎠 Today approximately 16.9 million guests visit Disneyland each year making it the 2nd most visited theme park in the world right behind Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

Starting off our features of this gorgeous vessel are the entertainment options on board. As we know, Disney is an entertainment company so they left no stone unturned in this category! She has 2 movie theaters and full stage theater for Broadway style performances! There are fine restaurants that renowned chef Arnaud Lallement collaborated with that are for adults only.
