October is the season for the comb jelly bioluminescence spawning. Last trip I've seen more bioluminescence than I've ever seen in Saint Augustine area. Both comb jellies and dinoflagellate bioluminescence was showing. If you've been wanting to book a trip now is the time. Earth Kinship has evening paddle almost every night.

Signs for spotting Manatee in the wild.
Manatee can be seen foraging the Florida rivers, creeks and coastline waterways throughout spring, summer and fall.
Four things you can do to increase your chances to see a manatee.
1. Find a local kayak guide to increase your chances for sightings.
2. Be Flexible: early morning is often the ideal.
3. Listen: You may hear a loud airy exhale before you see them.
4. Watch: Light color underneath the water surface, circle patterns on the water surface 8-9' feet apart as they swim, bubbles and aquatic plants move as they eat.
