Happy Earth Day to this beautiful, massive, ever changing home of mine. Reminiscing of all the awe we discovered a couple years back - hiking + backpacking into the depths of the desert in the Grand Canyon. Grateful for the rest Mother Earth is getting + looking forward to exploring new places in nature soon ✨🌱🌎

One of my favorite things of quarantine is that it’s challenged me to think outside the box of what I always do. I love taking + styling product shots for brands + finding creative ways to elevate the product/offers. I took these a few weeks ago for using what I had around my home/yard space. Today I’ll spend the afternoon in the garden capturing photos for client who makes an organic soil probiotic for farmers + gardeners.

In 2014, the idea for my very first real passion project showed up. It took me over 4 years to grow it into something that I was not only proud of, but also something that allowed me to financially sustain life + support a small team. Ive pivoted since + am building a new project, but these last weeks as I’ve been sorting through my old files, I’ve been reminded how an idea can blossom into a new way of life. was the beginning of my adventure - in nature, travel, business, growing a company, leading a team, + creating for clients. It was an unveiling of success + failure, trial and error. And it taught me how to organize, prioritize + strategize in order to connect with + grow community.

This week I’ll be uploading some stock photos to my website + I’m putting together a strategy guide to share that will help you minimize your “options overwhelm” + align ideas so that you can continue taking steps forward in growing your own passions to share with the world.

In the meantime, if you are missing wide open nature, traveling + explorations much as I am atm, take a scroll through the feed at for a little visual relief. I know it’s not quite the same, buttttt it did give me a boost of joy to see beautiful places + read stories about them virtually.

I said to a friend yesterday, “you can’t possible learn how to give, if you can’t learn how to receive.” A strange concept for many of us in service providing jobs + businesses: instructors, guides, creatives, healers, experience makers.

This week has been weird for everyone. My clients are small businesses + individual entrepreneurs - all of us just looking for ways to show up in the world, share our gifts + make enough money to live the version of happiness we each envision.

A lot of my services are in person + my livelihood depends on human connection. As do a lot of yours as health, fitness, wellness, + hospitality service + experience providers.

I’m not here to sell you an “offer” while the whole world slows down and things are out of wack. Because honestly, I know you all are hurting in your own ways and the work I do is a “luxury” expense in a lot of cases.

But I also know that a humans livelihood is linked to their creations. A brand’s story is built through creativity. And that without community none of us survive or thrive, in all the ways.

So as we continue to slow down more and more. Rescheduling events + pausing “profits” in some sort of way or another. I encourage you to do what you need to in order to reconnect to you. To your brand’s story. To your companies mission. To the why you’re doing things + to the how it’s getting done.

Where can you pivot? How can you do differently, that is truer + more in alignment for you? For your longevity + for the strength of your community.

Because if we’re all learning right now, we’re seeing that there’s is purpose in the slowing down + a power in community.
