I show people how to buy stuff for groups of people, based on the experience of actually doing just that - buying things for groups of people. The phenomenon of Community Buying Groups is an idea whose time has now come: saving money and time, reducing the carbon emissions of delivery, empowering communities, helping isolated, vulnerable and fuel poor people, and generally making your community a safer, happier and more sustainable place to live. I will probably never buy anything on my own again - the old way of doing things is being found out because The Power is with the Group! If we change the way we buy things it can influence huge behavioural change - change to a more sustainable way of doing things...we've begun with the goal of making rural energy the equal of urban energy rather than the poor relation.
