After the high wind event and rain we have coming the next day or so………We have extremely cold air coming next week. Please take the next few days to remove the hoses and wrap your outside spigots. Also, it’s a great idea to leave your cabinets on outside walls open and leave the water dripping. This might save you a big headache! Please spread the word to your friends and family.

Amanda Hope is our office manager most of the time, but when the Appalachian Fair comes to town…….. so do her delicious hand-made sweet treats.

Today we got to celebrate a special person for a wonderful (yet bittersweet) occasion. Neil Smith (Erie’s district sales manager for our area) has worked for Erie for 43 years and today, Erie Insurance Group employees and their agents from all over the Tri-Cities region had a get together at Southern Craft BBQ to reminisce & wish Neil well on his retirement.

We have know Neil since he appointed our agency in 2006. You won’t find a better person. He always cared about his appointed agents (and their employees) like they were family. The truth is - we ARE a family.

We will miss your leadership and friendship. We are sure Neil will have a lot to do in retirement. Please join us in wishing him well in this next chapter of life.

Do NOT plug space heaters into power strips of extension cords. Plug space heaters directly into a wall outlet

Power strips are not designed to handle the high current flow required by a space heater and can overheat, causing a fire

***************** COVID-19 OFFICE UPDATE ******************

This is something I never thought we'd need to do, but out of an ABUNDANCE of caution, we are taking the office virtual for at least the next couple of weeks. Though we will be here and ready to serve your insurance needs daily, we will not be open for walk-in traffic. Please see the attached pictures for more information.

Luckily, MOST of our business can be conducted without a face to face meeting. We will revisit this decision as additional information comes in, but our first priority will ALWAYS be the safety of our employees and clients. Stay safe and be well!
