Just had clients check into this week. Out of all the properties I’ve booked this year this is the one I’ve been most eager to get a report back! These clients don’t plan to leave the property as there are a multitude of included activities and 1000 acres at their disposal. Looks like something right out of a Jane Austen novel 📚 What a beautiful spot to cozy up for a fall weekend! 🍂🐑🪴🫖 Have you ever been to England? What experiences did you enjoy there?

The final stop on our cruise was to the charming city of Lisbon. I enjoyed a walking tour on two of the seven hills and to the castle, and also a food tour where we sampled still warm pasteis de nata (egg tarts), ginjinha (cherry liqueur in chocolate cups), coffee from the oldest cafe in Lisbon and a gorgeous lunch. Along the way we shopped in the oldest running bookstore in the world, saw the cable cars and admired the many beautiful ceramic tiles buildings. I also visited 4 hotels I can share with my clients. Two days was definitely not enough to soak in all the beauty. Obrigada, Lisboa!

Last Sunday I boarded the Soujourn with for the Travel Experts Summit - a conference with other travel advisors and over 70 suppliers all on board for a week. Our first port was Le Havre France where we enjoyed a fantastic sidecar tour to Honfleur and Deauville. Our second port of Cherbourg was pretty quiet (most shops closed) but we still enjoyed the down day.

Our first port was Le Havre, France 🇫🇷 Because I had already seen the Normandy D-Day beaches we decided to explore the lovely seaside towns of Honfleur and Deauville - via sidecar 🏍️ ! We rode over the Normandy bridge, saw the oldest wooden church in France, the iconic La Normandy hotel and the site of Coco Chanel’s first shop. We also enjoyed some local cider and calvados (apple brandy) at a beautiful family run orchard. C’est si bon!

Had a beautiful lunch at the Hotel Del. We learned all about the beautiful collection of and and visited the new Shore House villas. The Del will be wrapping up a huge renovation on the Victorian in March. Such a beautiful day with lovely people.
