Great trips for a great cause Association of Northwest Steelheaders -Emerald Empire Chapter

Want to catch a beautiful steelhead on the Willamette to throw in the freezer? Maybe a monster Fall Chinook on the Siuslaw? How about some Kokanee action on gorgeous Odell lake? Or some crabbing on Alsea Bay? We are selling five professionally guided trips on this Friday morning with Tim & Tracy on New Country 93.3 and every penny raised goes to the Emerald Empire chapter of the N.W. Steelheaders. They spend that money raising steelhead at their Letz Creek hatchery. Right now, the thousands of steelhead smolts they are raising are up to about four inches long. When they reach about six inches, they are released into Letz Creek to begin their journey to the ocean where they will spend two years becoming adults so they can return to the Siuslaw. Two years from now, those fish can be up to fifteen pounders and you can go catch them! Cool cycle. Join us Friday from 7am to 9am trips go to the highest bidders. Tell your fishing friends!
