One dog allowed with prior authorization; no other pets allowed. $2700 per month includes all utilities, trash, wifi, 2 parking spaces. Located 2 miles from central Evergreen on Brook Forest Road.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre has to be experienced. You can't describe it in words. But Danica Patrick said it well.

New at Dinosaur Ridge: electric bikes.

For $15 an hour, you can now ride the Ridge (and beyond) on an electric bike. You won't win any speed races - the bikes only go 20 mph, but it is a fun way to see the sights. Minimum height requirement is 4'10" and helmets are provided. Ask about the bikes in the Gift Shop of our Main Visitor Center.

The elk are everywhere this week. Traffic jams with elk leisurely crossing our streets, babies calling for mamas, and the all of them swimming in the lake every morning. No one is complaining. It’s glorious.

Comment: I stayed here this past weekend as part of attending the Evergreen Jazz Festival. I stayed in one of their 1-Bedroom units, the Aspen, which is one of four units in the same building. They also have cabins with only unit. It has a full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and a couple of burners. They also provide all the dishes. It is just a couple of miles from the Evergreen downtown but is nestled in a woody area. I found myself wanting to explore more, but also wanted to maximize my time at the festival. I will definitely stay again. It is not fancy but it is clean and comfortable.

Comment: Beautifully maintained! Very kid friendly with a cute playground. I believe most of the buildings were built in the 50s but it was hard to tell as they were so well updated and maintained. Nestled in the forest, a true relaxing getaway!
