The regular price is $189 per tach hour. This plane is a marvelous travel machine. It can carry 4 people and baggage with full tanks at a respectable cruise speed of 140 knots. It requires a high performance endorsement, however it's an easy transition from any Piper airplane.

We are happy to announce that we have completed the purchase of a Socata Trinidad N557TB. We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts to all of you who helped us with the financial and moral support!

This plane is a capable glass cockpit travel machine. It is equipped with Garmin G500 suite, GTN 750 touch screen GPS, King KAP 150 fully functional autopilot, and an electrical trim. It's a real joy to fly. Links to the airplane resources will be posted on our website in a short while.

It cruises at 155 knots at 8000 feet. During our ferry flight, we made it from Daytona Beach to Republic in only 6 flight hours. The payload is over 1000 lbs. In addition, a scale in the fuel tanks lets you fill them up more precisely than any other plane. This feature will definitely help you keep weight and balance under control.

It is parked on spot 90 on the Echo ramp. We will have it on exhibit during the memorial day weekend between the hours of 10 AM and 3PM. Come and see it inside and out, talk about performance and checkout requirements.

Speaking of checkout requirements, the insurance company requires a thorough ground and flight checkout. In addition, we will ask for 100 hours PIC in airplanes and an instrument rating.

It is a sad day for us. Arieh Narkunski has been killed in today's fatal accident at Gabreski airport along with another occupant of the plane The third occupant believed to be the owner of the plane survived and was taken to a hospital.

The plane was а privately owned Ryan Navion.

Arieh was one of the people who leave a large hole in our hearts when they are gone. He was a great friend and a passionate instructor. His wit made everybody smile. His high moral standards made us all better people. We will greatly miss him!

Please extend your prayers to his soul and condolences his family.

Guess we couldn't avoid it. Nor'easter is finally here..As we look outside and cuddle "by the fire", it's no time to forget about aviation, specifically aviation weather.

It is a great day for all of us! Ilya has passed a Certified Flight Instructor checkride with our local Farmingdale FSDO. This is the toughest exam in the aviation career, especially when taken directly with the FAA. Great job, Ilya! Now you can share your passion for aviation with more people!

We caught Matt right after his successful Instrument checkride. He was bouncing and sweating in the wind but no matter what, nothing could take him off the localizer and the glideslope. Partial panel GPS approach was even better. Great job, Matt! We are all proud of you!
