Kenny/ At first, I created this page for fun. Then as we started turning heads, I feel like it’s my duty to keep this alive for my family and the Amelia Island Black Historians that I once shared this island with. This island has so much history to offer and I want to be a part of the reason the black history here on this beautiful island is not forgotten.

As a kid I always fished with my grandpa. As I got older, I started playing sports and got out of the love for the outdoors. When I went to college, I met Kenny. That where the love for fishing came back into my life. We were living in a small town in the middle of no where of Oklahoma. We did anything and everything to fish out of the smallest pond of water. We were even driving 2 hours on our off days at work to fish 12/14 hours a day. We were catching bass, gar, st*****rs, spoonbill fish, blue catfish, and other cats. I moved back with Kenny to Amelia Island in 2016 and my love for saltwater was about to begin. We moved here during the month of January, so it was cold. Kenny started me off fishing on the docks and off the beach front. I swear the only fish that would bite my hook were small pin fish, croak er, and toad fish. After I finally got the hang of using shrimp for bait, we decided to move forward and buy a boat. Not going to lie, I was nervous as heck starting on the boat. I never wanted to leave shore and or never wanted to leave to where I couldn’t see land. I finally got over my fear and now all I want to do is go 70 miles offshore.
Please stay tuned to our pages and watch as we grow together and grow in the fishing world.
