That's what East Kentucky Housing Solutions (EKHS) aims to do. At EKHS we know first hand the struggles of buying, selling, and maintaining ownership of a home, and through thousands of hours of market analysis, research, and property management we also know that it can be a whole lot easier than most people think. The home buying process has turned into a corporate machine just like everything else and in the process it has put credible people on the same level as non-credible people in the eyes of lenders, all because of something outside of their control ex:(divorce, medical bills, etc...). We however look at applicants on an individual basis that relies much less on credit scores alone.
It's a perpetuated myth that there are only a few select ways to buy, own, or sell a home, and that if you don't have 20% cash down and great credit you can't own a home, well now from experience we know better and we have found a corner of the market that hasn't been over run by "the big guys". Long story short - every responsible working class family who takes pride in where they live should be able to own a home.
As stated before there are multiple multiple ways to own a home and it's our goal to make it happen for people.
We have started into a path of creative buying, selling, and ownership techniques that make things possible that aren't under conventional techniques and standards.
