Today we woke and walked to Ed Debevec’s for breakfast and then walked Navy Pier to eat lunch at the iconic Billy Goat Tavern and rode the Centennial Wheel and a speedboat and saw amazing views of the waterfront. Now we are headed to Chicago’s Chinatown for some authentic Chinese cuisine 🍜

This weekend Miles and I are taking my youngest get, Joshua into Chicago for the extended weekend. This morning we got up super early and took the Amtrak Blue Lake from Flint to Chicago. Our first stop after dropping off our luggage at the hotel was some deep dish Chicago style pizza at Giordanos. We are staying at the Hampton Inn West Loop! Tonight we are having a dinner and a show at Medieval Times. We have a jam packed trip planned 😊
