Construction Secretary- Bookkeeper
Busy residential construction company located in Ocean County is looking to hire a Construction Secretary/ Bookkeeper that will be responsible for assisting with both accounts payable and receivable along with preparation of payroll, bank account management and reconciliation tasks. Other responsibilities: Maintains records of day-to-day financial transactions by establishing accounts; and posting transactions.
To do well in this role you should have previous experience as a Bookkeeper and have working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook and One Drive.
Must be experienced in the residential home building process. Our ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the building permit process as well as possess the ability to procure and submit permit packages to the township along with thorough understanding of residential construction contracts, change orders, customer selection process and material ordering.
Accuracy and attention to detail along with working knowledge of all office related equipment such as printer, fax, telephone, computer, internet, adding machine are a must. Must be able to speak and write professionally.
