Meet Ronald Strom, VP of Projects and HSEQ at Ship Management Group. Ronald’s lifelong dedication to the maritime industry is rooted in his early experiences on fishing and coastguard vessels in North of Norway, and his education at Tonsberg Maritime Hoyskole, where he earned his marine engineering degree, followed by a Chief Engineer's license.

Ronald's career spans from working in the engine rooms of cruise ships to influential roles in cruise lines and shipping firms. At Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, he was part of the building teams for the last two Sovereign Class ships. His work at Star Cruises in Malaysia included developing one of the first Environmental Manuals in the Asian cruise sector. And he was in charge of technical operations in Seabourn Cruise Line during the construction of the Odyssey Class.

Currently, Ronald leads project management, safety, and quality standards at Ship Management Group. He is also active in various interest groups, working with new environmental technology.

His expertise was further honed as he started up and led V.Ships Oceanic Catering, managing operations for over 100 vessels.
