Alaska Day 12 - Vancouver. We started the day by riding Flyover Canada. Then we did the hop on hop off all over the city with a lunch stop at Granville Island. Ended the day with a little pool time.

Day 11 - Vancouver. Today we got off our ship in Vancouver. In the afternoon we rode the Harboe Air seaplane. This might be the highlight of Jesse's trip.

Alaska Day 10 - Today we spent the day on the ship cruising through the inside passage. I took a galley tour for a behind the scenes look at the ship operations. Fun day on board and the views were amazing!

Alaska Day 9 - Ketchikan Another rainy day in a beautiful port. We leard about the Native people and the meanings of totem poles. In the evening, Jesse burned up the dance floor and enjoyed a few mocktails.

Alaska Day 8 - Juneau. We traveled through the state capital to the marina to board the Pharos in search of whales. We saw 11 humpback whales and lots of bald eagles. Jesse was happy to end his day with a giant ice cream sundae back on the ship.

Alaska Day 7 - Skagway - Today we explored the gold rush town of Skagway. We want on a sled dog exhibit, got to meet the puppies and then went panning for gold. We also enjoyed the warm, fresh caught, free range, Alaskan chocolate chip cookies.

Alaska Day 5 - We started off the day with a paper airplane competition on the ship. Anyone that knows Jesse knows that is one of his favorite things. Later we cruised through Hubbard Glacier for un upclose look.

Alaska Day 4 - During a beautiful morning at Princess Mckinley Lodge, we were able to see Mt Denali, the highest peak in North America. Only about 3 in 10 people that visit Alaska are actually able to see the mountain at all. Then we took the Alaska railway south to Whittier to meet our ship.

Day 3 - Denali National Park. We spent the night at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. This resort is a village of its own with great restaurants and shops and amazing views. Our tour of the park was canceled due to the wildfire so we chose to spend a relaxing morning as a family. Others chose to do great excursions like hiking, whitewater rafting or helicopter tours.

Day 2 - Fairbanks. We took the riverboat down the Chena River. We saw a dog mushers camp where they gave us demonstrations of training. Then we visited an Alaska Native village.

Day 1 - Greetings from Alaska! Our group of 55 travelers made it safe and sound to Fairbanks to start our Adventure. The weather was perfect for flying and we flew across some beautiful mountains filled with glaciers. Night one as at the Princess Fairbanks River Lodge and it was the perfect place to start the day.
