FHS Global Leaders

This is a student group at Framingham High School where students learn about global issues and how they affect the world and their local communities.

Each year the group travels to the EF Tours Global Student Leaders Summit to hear from world-renowned experts and work with students from around the world to create global solutions to global issues. They then bring their knowledge back to Framingham where they apply the big ideas on a local level.

That's a wrap! Thanks to everyone who made this trip possible. The kids had an amazing time, made new frie dships and expanded their horizons. All in all a huge success!

Started day 2 of the Summit with an amazing speech by Randi Zuckerberg and an incredible performance by ILuminate, followed by some great design thinking work!

Learned a lot about the Cold War today. Started at the East Side Gallery, followed by a panel with speakers who grew up during the Cold War and ended at the Brandenburg Gate. Plus got LOTS of experience riding the Berlin subway!

First full day in Helsinki! Started with a learning game workshop with Lauri Jarvilehto, one of the world's experts on gaming. Then time to explore Suomenlinna fortress and finally a tour of Helsinki!
