🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

We now know from Disney that The Muppets will be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster as Muppet Vision 3D and its surrounding areas will become Monstropolis. 🐸 🚪

It was previously believed that Monstropolis may be going into the old area where the Star Wars Launch Bay is located, but that no longer seems to be the case. 🧦

If you are going to miss Aerosmith, start planning that trip and getting those last rides in before the Muppets take over the coaster bringing their signature humor and style along with them! 🎢

Highlight 13/16:

Dining at Biergarten 🇩🇪:

I will preface this highlight by saying if you’re not a big eater or your family doesn’t enjoy large sit down meals, this one may not be for you… 🤷‍♂️

That being said, if you love to eat and enjoy great food you will feel right at home when dining at Biergarten located in EPCOTs Germany pavilion! 🥨

This amazing German spread is an all you care to enjoy feast featuring (but not limited to): Bratwurst, Rotisserie Chicken, and Pork Schnitzel! 🐷

Make sure to save room for plenty of dessert as you tickle your tastebuds with Bavarian Cheesecake, hand pulled apple strudel, Black Forest cake, and much much more! 🧁

Did we mention the backdrop looks as if you’re seated in an old village square outdoors on a moonlit night as an incredibly talented Polka band entertains you with everything from cups to bells as instruments during your dinner? 🔔🍺

Highlight 12/64:

Rope drop!

Some don’t like it, some don’t understand it, but if you’re game and know how to do it, you can absolutely maximize your park days. 🙌

I will admit it does work better in some parks than others, but the concept of rope dropping is getting to the parks around an hour early (or earlier if needed) in order to be present when they first open for the day. Then you jet to whatever attraction you want to ride the most first and attempt to get in what will likely be your shortest wait of the day. 🏃‍♂️

Now what we would suggest is not necessarily running right to your favorite attraction (unless it’s the same as the following) but running to the attraction that you know generally experiences the longest wait times during the day if that is an attraction that you plan to ride sometime that day. ⏰

We’ve got the rundown on Disneys all new Lightning Lane Pass, the PREMIER PASS. ⚡️

Here’s what we know-

• Premier Pass will allow you a one-time entry into each attraction.
• No advanced booking of Lightning Lanes will be necessary.
• Walk up to the Lightning Lane entrance of your desired attraction when you are ready to ride.

🚨 Premier Pass will begin on October 23rd at Disneyland and on October 30th at Walt Disney World!

*At launch, the Premier Pass will ONLY be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe/Deluxe Villa Resorts, the Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green.*

*Lightning Lane Multi and Single Pass will still be available for purchase.*

DO NOT settle for the ones in Magic Kingdom by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, DO NOT settle for beignets ANYWHERE on Disney property BUT S**t Cat’s or you won’t be enjoying the best ones, trust us! 🍮

The beignets pictured below are the hot chocolate ones special for the Holiday season, they even came with a little syringe to inject more chocolate inside of your beignets! 🍫

Not staying at Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter and want to try the beignets? No problem. You can boat over to Port Orleans from Disney Springs! 🚤

Also brought to you by Oliver, he says you have to meet Princess Tiana (his personal favorite) and we would agree! 🐸

There are SEVERAL places where you can meet Tiana. We have been to all but one (which we will be going to this year now that 1900 Park Fare has reopened) and it has always been a fun experience! Full of her signature wit and southern charm, Princess Tiana is one of the best characters you can meet at Walt Disney World. 👑

Our kids go even more nuts when we stay in Tiana’s Royal Rooms at Port Orleans Riverside Resort which conveniently puts you within walking distance to Port Orleans French Quarter where you can get the best beignets on Disney property! 🥮

Highlight 9/64:

Brought to you by Oliver, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin! 🪐

Even though Piper was unprepared for a flash photo on a dark ride (see the first photo), this quickly became one of our family favorites after Oliver’s obsession with it on his first trip! 🚀

Toy Story Mania is newer and in 4D, but there’s just something nostalgic about spinning, winning, and blasting Zurg away each time we visit The Magic Kingdom. Last time all 4 of us even hit Galactic Hero (max score) and we can help tell you how. 😉

If you’ve never been Space Cadets, hop in for a spin and see why this is one of the Tapper families favorite attractions (side note- sometimes the wait time is EXTREMELY LOW. One trip they let Oliver and I ride 3 times in a row without leaving the attraction while Haley got us our early morning Joffreys coffee). 🛸

Highlight 8/64:

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! 🌍

There is sooo much that can be said about EPCOTS BEST festival! From November 29th to December 30th EPCOT transforms into a holiday spectacular featuring favorite dishes from around the world, Christmas stories and traditions from all over, and my personal favorite the Holiday Cookie Stroll! 🍪

Eat and drink around the world while enjoying select famous cookies in several marked locations! Collect them all for the grand prize! 🏆

Other highlights include the Candlelight Processional (often featuring a celebrity narrator this fills up quick), meeting Santa, and Olafs Scavenger Hunt! 🗺️

This festival has quickly become one of our favorite holiday traditions! 🎄

Highlight 7/64:

Meeting at Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus in EPCOT! ❄️

This is our FIRST character meet to make our highlights list and for good reason… we’ve NEVER had a bad time here! ⛄️

Anna and Elsa spend AMPLE time with your kids and family. Engaging them, asking them questions, going over parts of the film, and so much more. When your kids are Frozen obsessed like ours (or let’s be real, some of us adults too… Frozen is AMAZING) they won’t want to leave! 🧌

Highlight 6/64:

TSA PreCheck!

You don’t need Goofys ears to hear how beneficial this is!

We had heard about PreCheck for awhile, but last year was our first time getting to use it and let us tell you if you’re flying out of (insert airport) and into MCO (or insert airport, especially with Littles) it is worth it 100%! 👏 👏 👏

You get through security so much faster which leaves you plenty of time to get organized and ready before getting onto the plane. ✈️

Nothings worse than just making it through TSA and then still having to rush to your flight and constantly feel like you’ve forgotten something (KEVIN! 😂Home Alone 2 was soooo accurate on the airport chaos). 🤦‍♂️

We got approved about a month before our flight last year for TSA precheck and it was quick and easy. I also believe they told us that since Haley and I had it, the kids didn’t need it until they were 12. How do you beat that? ✅

Highlight 5/64:

Memory Maker! 📸

Who doesn’t want tons of photos and videos of their vacation? 🤯

Let’s be real here people, it is not cheap to travel ANYWHERE anymore! You are so happy you pulled off that trip of a lifetime and want to capture every moment possible, but you’re also on vacation and don’t want to spend it on your phone… enter Memory Maker! 🙌

Spanning across all 4 parks (and some random Disney Springs locations), Memory Maker allows professional Disney Photographers to give you the best shots available of you and your party! 🎞️

Speaking of your party if one person in your party purchases memory maker, EVERYONE in your party can link to it and use it! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

So what photos are even available? Well how about character meet and greets, your ride photos, unique park locations (think Tree of Life or Tower of Terror), Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and portrait studios. 🏞️

When you get back home simply pick and choose what photos to keep or save all of your photos to a USB Drive and print or use them at your leisure. It sure beats lugging a Cannon camera around the parks to capture the perfect trip shutterbugs! 📷

Highlight 4/64:

Disneys Skyliner!

If you haven’t been to the parks for awhile you may not be familiar with Disneys Skyliner, but we HIGHLY recommend staying at a Skyliner resort (especially when traveling with Littles). 🚠

Although it’s true that Disneys Skyliner only takes you to two different parks (EPCOT and Hollywood Studios), don’t underestimate the time that it saves you on your plans and stay! ⏰

The last thing you want to do at the end of the night or heading back for a midday rest is wait for a bus. Although Disneys bus system is fantastic, it can still take awhile. This is where the Skyliner shines. Each Skyliner can accommodate up to 10 people (5 per bench). They are also able to accommodate wheelchairs, mobility devices, and strollers. With over 300 gondolas you do not wait anywhere near as long to get onto a Skyliner vs a bus, even with a long line! 👏

The current resorts utilizing Disneys Skyliner are Disneys Art of Animation Resort, Pop Century Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, and Riviera Resort. 🏨

Highlight 3/64:

Be Our Guest Restaurant! 🌹

We have dined at Be Our Guest several times, have been seated in every room, and have not had a bad experience yet! 🙌

This is a great spot to eat with fun theming, fantastic food, and a guaranteed character meet. 📸

I would HIGHLY recommend the Short Rib Beef Bourguinon or Grilled Filet Mignon fit your entree. 🥩

My favorite room to sit in is The Grand Ballroom, but The West Wing is so cool as well. Also, if you’re wondering how similar restaurants stack up, we would say that Be Our Guest is an overall better restaurant and dining experience than Cinderella’s Royal Table. We have eaten at Cinderellas Royal Table and enjoyed it, but compared to Be Our Guest the dining options didn’t seem as good and the experience was less than. 🏰

That being said, the choice to make will usually be who’s higher up on your children’s (or kids) character wish list, dining with Beast or meeting some inconic Princesses! 👸

Highlight 2/64:

Fuel Rods! ⚡️

These have been one of my favorite Disney park investments over the years!

You will hear of a million different ways to keep your phone charged at Disney Parks and I’m sure they all work… but few (if any) are as cost effective and convenient as Fuel Rod.

With kiosks everywhere (starting even at MCO when you land) you purchase a Fuel Rod once (directly at a kiosk or ahead of time online like Amazon) and whenever it depletes you swap it out FOR FREE, NO DAILY LIMIT!

Seriously, we can let you know practically every Disney World kiosk location because we’ve used them! They are beyond convenient and keep you on the go for a reasonable one time cost ($35 I think or sometimes like $50 on Amazon for a 2-pack STEAL).

I won’t travel without mine!

64 Days until we head back to Walt Disney World to celebrate Christmas, Oliver’s Birthday, Haley’s Birthday, and great time together with family! 🗓️

I plan to post at least once a day for the next 64 days providing some of our favorite highlights of traveling to Florida, things to do in the parks, dining spots, character meets, etc… so if you’re interested in learning more about a Disney trip, follow along! 🏰

Highlight 1/64:

Away We Go Transport, the perfect way to get to Disney World! 🚐

Ever since Disney parted ways with The Magical Express (😡), clients worried about how they would now get from MCO to their Walt Disney World Resort, and we did too!

In came Away We Go and the transition has been nothing short of amazing. They pick you up in the cleanest vehicles and can accommodate large parties. Bonus, they have car seats for your littles too! 👶

We have used them on multiple trips and for a small fee they can take you to Publix first to grab a grocery pickup (think water, small snacks, etc… things you may want and need in your hotel room) or last year they picked us up at MCO and took us directly to the front gates of Animal Kingdom so we could start our vacation right away while they drove our luggage back to our resort so we would have it later that evening! 👏

We have booked them for several clients who sing praises about their services and the experience. They are cost effective and professional. We don’t even need to look for another transport option because we’ve found the perfect one! ☝️
