As much as I'm looking forward to summer, it is also bittersweet because as the days get warmer, they also get longer. This means it becomes more and more difficult for me to get out and catch the sunrise.

Of course, the same feeling comes in to play when the days get colder later in the year too, so I guess it is a fair trade-off in the end.

Calling all locals!

The Boathouse is looking for host families living within a 4 mile radius for our international J-1 students contracted this season. There are 12 arriving in May and 12 arriving in June, all leaving in September. This would be a great cultural experience for both parties. There was just something about the way the grasses looked on top of this dune near a beach crossing that I really enjoyed.

I can't really describe what it was, but I took a few photos of them to share with you all.
