ler Food Plots we approach each new challenge with a genuine passion, love, respect and knowledge for Whitetail’s, their nutrition and creating premier habitat. We spend time educating ourselves about the best nutrition, habitat and current issues regarding whitetails. At Killer Food Plots we are passionate about creating excitement in today’s youth about the outdoors and hunting while giving kids a chance to get into a tree stand and teach them about habitat. Through many trials, victories, losses and hours of education we have gained the knowledge and experience to understand what works when enhancing habitat and planting Whitetail deer food plots and what does not.

I never get tired of this view. The deer are tearing the KFP Resurrection clover/chicory plots up, while some are just chilaxing. Come check us out at the Novi Outdoorama show Feb 20th-23rd. Booth 5462.

Frost seeding is not to far off. Here are some pics I took while muzzleloading in Ohio this past season. The temps were above freezing until we got there, imagine that. At that time it’s a bit early to frost seed but the pics are a great example of how the ground freezes and heaves towards the sky, creating voids in the ground that will allow the seeds to fall into. Then during the day (later in the season) when the sun comes out and thaws the ground, it relaxes and settles/melts and then covers the seed for you. This is a great way to spruce up those over browsed food plots so they fill in for spring. Make sure the seed you’re using can be frost seeded. All our seed bags have an icon on them that states whether it can be frosted seeded or not. Check us out Killer Food Plots.

EHD hit some areas in Michigan and other states pretty hard this year. Combat the the EHD problem by getting down to the source with Aqua Shield. It destroys the habitat the midge fly larva thrives in, while exposing and killing the existing larva all while cleaning your water source. Come see us this weekend at the Kalamazoo Outdoor Sports Expo. Starts tomorrow at 2pm. Hope to see you there.

I get asked a lot “what do you use for a year round food source”?. KFP Resurrection Clover is my go to. This is a highly attractive, protein packed blend of six different clovers that obviously brings in the deer while helping build their body’s back year round. Killer Food Plots. Come see us this weekend Kalamazoo Outdoor Sports Expo.
