Juana, our dedicated Recreation Specialist at Lafayette Neighborhood Park, has been instrumental in revitalizing the community space. Her passion and energy have transformed the park into a vibrant hub, inspiring both her team and the residents. Through innovative programs such as family vision boards, holiday workshops, and engaging sports camps, Juana has made a lasting impact on the Lafayette community. Her commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment, alongside Park Rangers and custodial crews, further underscores her exceptional leadership.

Sarah has demonstrated outstanding dedication through her management of high-priority projects, including the Highest Need Neighborhoods update and the Parks Master Plan amendment. Her effective communication with the Parks, Recreation, and Arts Commission has ensured seamless collaboration. In her role, Sarah excels in community engagement by overseeing outreach initiatives, managing social media platforms, and creating eye-catching marketing materials that promote PARCS events and activities. Her innovative campaigns have significantly boosted participation and awareness, while her efforts in collecting over 1,400 survey responses highlight her commitment to understanding community needs.
