Riverside-Glamping on the New River

Riverside-Glamping on the New River Glamping on the New River...Where you can swim, fish, kayak, canoe all while in a beautiful camper. We are a family of four.

Our kids are 14 and 11 and we have a strong love for adventures and nature. This love inspired our quest for the perfect location where we were on a waterfront property and could fish, kayak, canoe, swim, camp, make S'mores all while lodging in a comfortable space with all the comforts of home. A place where you can sit on a fully covered deck and swing observing the nature all around. We found that place, a place to make great memories and we want to share it with you

🎉✨ What an AMAZING turn-out for Downtown Galax! ✨🎉

On November 23rd, we had around 1,200 visitors, and just one week later, on November 30th—Small Business Saturday—we saw a HUGE jump to 2,100 visitors! 🚀 That’s a 75% increase, and it’s all thanks to YOU—our incredible community of shoppers and visitors! 💙

The local small businesses here are beyond grateful for your support! 🛍️ Every purchase you make helps keep our downtown vibrant and growing. 🌱 When you shop small, you’re investing in more than just products—you’re investing in your neighbors, friends, and the future of our city. 🏡

Thank you for making Small Business Saturday such a success! 🥳 Let’s continue to support local businesses and create lasting impacts for our community. Together, we can make Downtown Galax thrive! 🌟

FRIDAY CLEAN UP !! Volunteers needed Friday, November 8th on Big Horse Creek in Lansing. Grab your waders and meet in the Creeper Park by the barn at 9:00 am on the 8th. Trash bags, gloves, grabbers etc. will be provided.

New River Conservancy is proud to partner with Keep Ashe Beautiful (KAB) for this clean up.
The mission is to clean up as much of Big Horse Creek as possible. We will be joined by volunteers coming up from Raleigh with the North Carolina Land & Water Fund who are eager to help.

Even if you can just spare an hour or two, your help is needed to clean out the unprecedented amount of "stuff" in the creek!
