Heads up, Fruita! ⚠️ Downtown Fruita will be busy this weekend with the Fruita Fat Tire Festival happening Friday - Sunday and the Co2uT Race on Sunday. Both events will be utilizing the Fruita Civic Center Park, parking lot, and surrounding streets.

🚧 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒: Aspen Avenue from Peach Street to South Elm Street and Peach Street from East Aspen Avenue to the alley way north of Aspen Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic. Closures started today, Thursday, May 11, for the festival to set up.

Well folks it's official, Fruita Elm Street cottage is sold!! It has truly been a pleasure hosting all the many guest that have stepped foot in our cozy, quaint home. We wish the new home owner lots of memories in that 100 year old home. I will miss you Elm cottage!!

We're getting ready for you! Grand Opening is set for Friday, October 7. We will begin normal hours of operation on this day. Open at 11:00. Live music with the immensely talented Wave 11 at 6:00 pm. Pro Tip: bring your own camping chair just in case all the tables are full.

🐓2 months from today we will be celebrating our local celebrity chicken, Mike. This year Mike has taken an interest in the sea and will be henceforth known as Captain Mike.

We are excited to share our entertainment line up for 2022.
Friday: Josh Gracin with Peggy Malone opening
Saturday: Natural Chemistry, Head for the Hills, Stray Grass , Big Dominguez, and The Lip

June 3 and 4 in downtown Fruita, we look forward to our favorite activities of our 5k run/walk, peep and wing eating contest, and our vendor, merchandise, and game areas as well!

Did you know that Mike visited The University of Utah ?

One week after the beheading, Mike was taken to have scientists determine how he was able to survive. Scientists determined the ax had missed his jugular and he had a well timed blood clot that kept him alive. Mike was left with one ear and most of his brainstem so he was able to function much like a "normal" chicken.
