I'm Vonnie, and I live in central Missouri with my husband Dave, our Boxer Sammy, and our rescue kitty Ellie. We live in a small house perched on the edge of a bluff that overlooks woods and farmland. I'm a country girl at heart, who has always enjoyed making things. For as long as I can remember, I have always had some type of 'project' going on. Growing up, my family was also very creative, so I

, of course, followed suit. Photography has been my biggest creative outlet, and the one that stuck with me the longest. Please feel free to visit my page, Photography by Vonnie. Recently, I discovered the joy of polymer clay and handmade jewelry. All of my polymer clay beads and designs are baked, hand sanded, then buffed and dipped for either a satin or high gloss finish. No two are exactly alike, and colors may differ slightly, due to the fact that everything is mixed by hand. I love the creativity of polymer clay! Some beads and designs have mica powders, pearl powders, acrylic paint, alcohol inks, and gold or silver leaf added for depth and visual interest. My good friend Angel and I have begun making and selling homemade soap. If you've never tried homemade soap you truly don't know what you're missing. Glycerin is what makes it feel so luxurious. Commercial soap makers remove this precious product because they can then sell it for added profits. Glycerin is like nourishment for your skin. It helps retain moisture, so your skin won't feel as dry as it can with commercial soaps. We mostly use natural colorants, essential oils and additives in our soaps. Any that have synthetic items added are noted in the description. Vonnie Byers
