We are hosting a Sunday Artisan Market in Gardiner on July 2nd. 9-3.

Future dates are July 9th, August 6th and 13th.
Each will be different with a mix of vendors at each show and number of vendors at each show. So different each time!

The cabin survived, no damage to it or the area around it. I thank everyone for the concern and kind words. We were very fortunate. Good news today for the town of Gardiner. There are plans to build a new road connecting the north entrance at Gardiner to the undamaged road to Mammoth. They are hoping to have it done this summer!! See the link. Fingers crossed. The work will be fast-tracked by $50 million in emergency funds from the Federal Highway Administration and the diversion of a construction crew from work near Old Faithful.

Bison out the back door. Taken with porch camera this evening.

Andy decided to make a last minute trip to Yellowstone to see it in the winter. He left yesterday after a week at the cabin and here’s what he wrote: “I can’t say enough about the cabin on the Yellowstone River. Every morning I would make a coffee and go for a drive. I saw wolves, coyotes, bald eagles, bull elk, bison and pronghorn - all within 3 miles of the cabin. The bison even came onto the grounds to sleep one evening. The valley is beautiful; Towering, snow-capped mountains surround you and the Yellowstone River is right outside the back door. I’d suggest taking advantage of the awesome fire pit right behind the cabin to sit and listen to the Yellowstone River while enjoying the stars. The cabin is so close to the Roosevelt Arch. I can’t imagine a more convenient location for accessing the park. The rental is very well appointed. So much so that I enjoyed cooking in almost every night. This was one of the most restful, restorative trips I have ever taken. I will be back.” Thanks so much Andy!
