To all our architecture colleagues, please join us at the Facades + Conference on October 30 and 31, here in Dallas, TX. Rickey will be speaking as part of panel discussion along side Matt Jezyk, the Senior Manager of AEC conceptual design products for Autodesk, and Nate Holland, a digital practice leader with NBBJ. The brief for our discussion and the link to the Facades+ Conference website are below...
Breaking down the (Design) Barriers:
Many firms have combined computational design and building information modeling and are delivering real work using new tools and practices. In this session we will learn how two industry-leading firms have gone from experimenting with computational design to using it in practice on real projects. Both firms are iterating on more design ideas, increasing the quality of work and delivering more quickly by successfully using advanced software tools. We will hear about case studies from NBBJ and RTKL and then hold a Q&A to discuss both commonalities and differences in approach.
