Safe travels to all planning to visit The Smokies tomorrow. We feel fortunate to have been in a position to offer an early check-in to tomorrow's guest to help them get ahead of any issues.
It should should be beautiful!

Snow showers can be expected Friday afternoon into Saturday morning, with light snow accumulations expected mainly over the higher terrain. 1 to 3 inches will be possible over the mountains of SW VA and E TN, and a few highest peaks may see locally higher amounts.

Keep aware of the latest forecast updates, and be prepared for the possibility of slick conditions if you plan to travel in these areas Friday afternoon into Saturday.
