You may have noticed more blog posts shared here lately, along with a name change on Instagram—and now on this page, too. I want to assure you that Fairytale Flyer Travel is still alive and well, and I’d love to continue helping you with all your Disney vacation needs!

That said, through this journey, I’ve discovered that my true passion lies in sharing travel knowledge—tips, tricks, and hacks that make trips even more special. That’s why I launched Fairytale Travel Guide, a blog dedicated to helping parents, especially those traveling solo with kids, feel confident in taking on new adventures. I wanted the flexibility to share these insights through social media without a direct tie to my travel agency.

Whenever I mention that I traveled solo with my two toddlers for two weeks—through Canada, Europe, and onto a Disney Cruise—the response is always, “I could never do that!” But I promise, you can! Fairytale Travel Guide exists to empower parents to take that leap and create unforgettable memories with their children.

This blog offers valuable travel information for everyone, not just solo parents, and I’d love your continued support in following this page. But if the content no longer aligns with your interests, I completely understand and appreciate you having been here until now.

One of the most important things to know about visiting Disney with babies and toddlers is that there is a baby care center located in every park across Disney World and Disneyland. Pictured here is the one located in EPCOT at Walt Disney World.

These care centers are invaluable, as they have everything you need to care for and rest with a little one while in the midst of a busy park day. They include:
-changing stations
-private nursing rooms
-bottle warmers
-microwaves
-a kitchen sink
-small tables
-tiny toilets
-high chairs
-the ability to purchase supplies you may need like formula, baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, sunscreen, pacifiers and over-the-counter medication

If you stay in a Disney resort, one of the perks that you’ll get is early entry into the theme parks. Here’s where you’ll want to check in for that early entry in Magic Kingdom!

Funny story - last September we went to Disney World. It was my first time back since they had made changes to the “extra magic hours” that they used to hold in the morning. We got to Magic Kingdom nice and early, ready to spend that extra 30 minutes in the park before opening. But once we walked through Main Street, everyone was just standing in front of the castle waiting. We joined the crowd waiting there and ended up not getting past that until the park officially opened at 9am. I was so confused because I thought we were getting that extra time there for being a resort guest!

As I learned later on, you have to go to a specific spot and show them your resort reservation in order to get past that point before official park open. So don’t be like me! Find that cast member holding the sign and get your extra time in the park!

Traveling with a baby or toddler that isn’t ready to sleep in a regular bed yet? You can request cribs and even bed rails at any Disney resort, free of charge!

This is one of my favorite tips because I’m someone who likes to travel as minimally as possible. Carrying supplies like pack n plays through the airport is not for me 😅

You can request these before your arrival. However, I’ve been told by housekeeping cast members that you still must call and request them once you’ve checked into your room. They are subject to availability, but I’ve never run into an instance where they didn’t have them available.

Traveling is my passion; I have had the pleasure of visiting places all over the Americas, Europe, and Africa, and have even volunteered in remote villages in the mountains of Peru.

But above all, Disney has my heart. I’ve been traveling to Disney World for over 20 years, I worked as a Concierge Cast Member in Disney World for 3 years, I have participated in many runDisney races (I’m currently training for the D***y challenge in January 2025!), and I regularly spend my free time keeping up with the constant changes and developments in both Disney World and Disneyland.

If there’s one piece of advice I can give to anyone considering a Disney vacation with really little ones, it’s this - don’t wait just because you’re afraid they won’t remember it.

It’s likely they won’t remember. But *you* will have pictures and memories to last a lifetime. And someday, they’ll love looking back on those pictures with you and hearing about that vacation from your perspective.

Here’s a few of my favorites from my family’s first Disney vacation in 1995 ✨ I am forever grateful for these memories despite not really remembering being there 🥰

We just got back from a trip to Disney World, and this time I tried something new (to me)! We booked private transportation to the airport from our resort with Away We Go Transportation Services. It was the absolute best! They were easy to book, kept in great contact with me, were right on time, and had the exact car seat configuration I had requested ready for my two little ones. And our driver, Hicham, was wonderful!
