Here's a blast from the past. In anticipation of the Alanis Morissette show hitting Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre St. Louis in 10 days here are some photos I took covering her 1st show in town 26 years ago at Mississippi Nights, September 1, 1995. It was just as "You Oughta Know" was blowing up. 1 year later she played to a sold out Riverport Amphitheatre (Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre). Anyway, tickets for the show are still available. Sometimes a pic brings a tear to the photographer's eyes when he/she is editing. This shot was during the father/daughter dance at a wedding reception. Only problem was the father passed away recently so the bride had her father/daughter dance with her brothers. I didn't realize I got the tear until just now, and I got emotional.
