Hello America! We are open today ! It's a chilly but beautiful day here in Cawker City !

If you are traveling to spend Thanksgiving and coming through Kansas - take some time to stop and smell the roses...err twine at the World's Largest Ball of Twine !!

Stop in for lunch or some ice cream at the Wisconsin Street Trading Post Gift Shoppe and Travel Plaza and check out the wild sights at Eyegore's Curiosities and Monster Museum !

Take a walk and enjoy the breath taking scenery at Glen Elder State Park - Kansas Wildlife & Parks !!

But most of all we wish your family the warmest Thanksgiving holiday!!

Good afternoon America!! Our town bank ( Farmers and Merchants Bank ) is endeavoring to collect enough new mittens and gloves to go the the students at Lakeside Elementary ! New jackets and hats are also needed.

If you are coming through Cawker City this weekend - please consider dropping of a pair or two of child sized gloves or mitten. Drop offs will be accepted here at Eyegore's Curiosities and Monster Museum !!

It's going to be a beautiful weekend - make plans to come to Cawker City this weekend!

Saturday morning enjoy a hearty breakfast and or lunch or maybe an ice cream treat while in town, head over to the Wisconsin Street Trading Post Gift Shoppe and Travel Plaza !!

Enjoy an afternoon at the Glen Elder State Park - Kansas Wildlife & Parks !! Want to come and stay the night we have The Old Station Inn and Barnwood Hideaway !
