visit us at www.lizziephoto.com In the last year and a half, this little thing called lizziephoto has changed from a ME to a WE. Are we still fun? Yes.

While I still serve as the primary L in Lizzie, I have added (well, as of 2/24/13) a few Ls to this, in the way of a new last name….Miller (see, two new Ls). My partner in photography, and more importantly, in life, my now (yay!) husband, Dan Miller, is just as much lizziephoto now as I am. Are we still creative? Do we still always strive to be the best at what we do? We just get to do it together

now. While I’m entering my sixth year as a photographer, Dan is about to start year two with me. Together we bring two perspectives, two life experiences, one love for each other and one goal – to share this love of photography with you. While he stalks birds and beers (see thebeertruck.com) and is available for headshots & events, I still focus on the people (individuals, families and seniors). Together we are a team for weddings, making sure our clients have maximum coverage for their special days!

Yesterday was a special day for me - and this isn’t business related at all....but I’m still going to share. A year ago I helped a young man who had been shot, and yesterday he showed up on our doorstep. I had been waiting for so long to find him, and he found me. Today we shared our story, and some day, when I can work again, I’m going to photograph this talented young rap artist.

They say it's good luck if it rains on your wedding day. Well, Kevin and Amber, I would be buying lottery tickets every day. Because it rained the WHOLE time, yet you both smiled, enjoyed it, and embraced every second of it. Amber......thank you for rolling with it, no matter what came your way. Kevin, thanks for always believing I would be a part of your day. I was honored to stand there and watch you welcome your wife down the aisle. Congrats guys!

I normally don't preview so many pictures from a session, but Amber and Kevin's was simply magical. From shared beers to discussions about pizza.....oh, and that love, and that light, and a bride who ran half a mile ahead (in clothes for her session) to check a location. Yes, ran. And still looked like a million bucks. Looking forward to celebrating their wedding day in October!
